Luteal Phase Question

So there is no baby this cycle. AF decided to show up today - and several days early at that! Not too big of a deal. I told my DH and he was like, good! That means we get to do it a lot more! Sounds like your typical man :-)

My question is about my luteal phase: Should I be concerned because my LP this cycle was only 9 days long? Could that be from the m/c I experienced (end of last cycle/beginning of this cycle) ? I don't know much about LP's and such so didn't know if this was something to be concerned about or not.

My cycles after I got my period back after my DS was born (he was born 8/2007 and my first period came in June 2008) the LP was 10, then 8, then 16 (because of the m/c). Before I got pregnant with my son they were 10-12 days long. All my charts are on my FF page if you want to see them.

I wasn't sure if this was something I should be concerned about and try to figure out something to do to make them longer or if this is normal or whatever.

Thanks in advance ladies! I appreciate the help :-)

It might take a few cycles for your body to get back on track.

It could be b/c of the m/c. I have read that a good LP is at least 12 days long, but some doctors say anything 10
