Do any of you experience AF-type cramps between O and AF and aren't pregnant?

I've been experiencing this for several months now (except last month) and don't understand why. This month it was for 3 days on and off and on 8 DPO it was pretty intense at some point.

BTW, I'm pretty sure AF is on her way, so I'm not pregnant.

I did get this camping when I was pregnant with my son so when this started, I thought for sure I was pregnant but no...

Does this mean something is wrong?

Hi!

I had a lot of cramping last cycle after O and before AF, and I don't normally have that (except when I was pregnant with DD) so I really thought I was pregnant. I was really upset when I wasn't. I have been having some problems with my kidney though, basically my urinary tract in general, and found out that can cause cramping pain like from bladder spasms and such and it hurt me right where I have AF cramps. They think I have a kidney stone and I'm going to a urologist tomorrow. Anyway, I don't think you have a kidney problem, lol...I am just saying that we have a lot of things that can cause us pain there. The colon, the bladder, etc. Could have just been something bothering you that isn't serious. There are obviously gynecological issues that can cause cramping. I would just keep an eye on it and see if it happens again, unless you have severe pain or pain accompanied with other symptoms. If you have a really good doctor/nurse it wouldn't hurt to call and ask, see if the nurse might answer the question, just to make you feel better.
Basically, I'm just kind of putting my two cents in. I don't want you to worry. It could be nothing at all! Oh--are you on evening primrose oil? I did read that can cause uterine contractions.

I hope this helped, my rambling...lol...and I hope you are wrong and AF doesn't show!

My cycles have felt different since having my DD. I was told that just about anything can be considered normal after having a baby. I even feel nauseous now before AF, which was my first rps when I was pregnant with my DD. Now, I can't go by that since it could mean either or.
If it's not sever, I'm sure it's normal. I hope it's good new for you soon.

I get nauseous before AF too. It's only been happening for the last couple of months. It's good to hear I'm not the only one!

Helene...I also get cramps between O and AF. They aren't usually very strong, but definitely there. I hope all is well with you!

Helene,

As I've told you, I experienced this cramping, too, and I know AF is on her way, as well.

Thanks Danasue, how are you doing?

I remember you saying that you had cramps every cycle and weren't pregnant. Your post reassures me a lot. Thanks! Hope everything is well with you.

I had a doc. apt today and she ordered blood work on 7 DPO so at least we'll see if the hormones are okay.
