So I got the results of my fasting blood test back. My sugars were at 98. They needed to be under 100, so I passed but barely. They also called me in for another fasting blood test. This time they said they were going to do a fasting lipid, fasting cholesterol, testosterone, TSH (which I had done about a year ago and was normal), and something else but I am not sure what. It also took them 4 tries to get blood out of me. I am beginning to think I should just stop "trying" and just let nature take its course. Another part of me wants to find out what all is wrong with me so I can get "fixed".

I am very sorry you are having troubles. You need to do what you think is right if something is wrong that can be fixed it might be better to go keep getting your test done, but on the other hand testing also can make you very stressed and make is harder when you are TTC. I hope you get your BFP SOOOOOOOOOON! I will say a prayer for you and ask Jesus to give you strength and to help you to go on.

I really felt the need to offer some support because I know how you feel and I want to share my experiences with you. When it comes to testing I have had just about every test you can think of relating to TTC. But first for some back story. I started TTC in Feb '08 and I got pg the end of June only to have an early m/c at about 5.5 weeks. Since it was early we were given the green light to try again. I got pg again the end of August and again I m/c'd but this time at 8wks1d after I had seen a healthy heartbeat. I was being told at that point that I had a uterine anomaly and that was what was causing my losses and my Dr's refused to look for anything else at that point and told us we could try again in 2 months since I had a d&c. Well I pushed and pushed and pushed and finally got a referral to an RE who did more testing, tons more and came to find out that I have 2 clotting disorders, pcos, and a subseptate uterus. My testing included a surgery that I had on 4/3. I am now pg again with much more hope of this one being successful because I am being treated for all the issues that seriously impact the viability of a pregnancy. I wish I could have gotten the testing done earlier so maybe I would have avoided some heartache. I'm sorry if this is long and I in no way am trying to tell you what to do, but when you have a Dr willing to do the testing now before you have complications like recurrent losses it is a great thing. Maybe it would make you feel better about things if your Dr tested for everything than you'll know when you start TTC that you don't have to worry about them. Good luck with your tests and hopefully you'll be TTC real soon.
