Much needed HELP please...

I have been trying to conceive this past month. My last period ended on Oct. 3rd. Today (10/22) I got what I think is my period. I have always had a normal period and get it exactly 28 days after my last. This time, it's 10 days early?!? Normally I have a heavy period and intense cramping the day before. 95% of the time, I would also breaking out and have mood swings. Unusually, today I had some light pink discharge this morning and dark brown discharge this evening. Also no cramps? It doesn't feel like a normal period at all which is why I am confused. There have been no changes in my diet, no weight changes, or no stressful events currently going on. I also took a pregnancy test which came up negative. Could this possibly be implantation bleeding? If so, when would it be o.k. to take another pregnancy test?

Some people say that you can get a positive pregnancy test about 2 days after implantation, but I have also read 3-4. HCG doubles about every 48 hours, the hormone that the home pregnancy tests pick up. If this is implantation bleeding then it is probably too early to get a positive. Your bleeding does sound odd, not like a normal period, especially since it is pink and brown, and because it is earlier than your expected period.
If I were you I would test again with first morning urine in 2 days. But we all know how hard it is to wait, so if you have the money you could test to your heart's content.
Keep in mind that every pregnancy is different for every woman!
Good luck and I hope you get your Positive soon!
Hi,
Given the timeframes, it is very possible that it's implantation bleeding.
