Well, yesterday after getting a BFP with the Walmart brand test, I received my "Fertility Kit" (20 opk, 5 hpt) from my internet order. I ordered from freepregnancytests.com. I didn't order the free tests, I ordered the kit. I paid $14.45 for the order. I have to say that I would have been very disappointed if I hadn't already tested strongly positive with the store test. The test strips themselves resemble matchsticks (as someone else astutely described them.) I pee'd in a cup and let it sit for a couple hours (the test instructions say to let it get to room temp, at least 5 minutes.) I dipped the test into the cup for 3 seconds, as per instructions. I watched as nothing but the control line came up. After leaving the test for a few minutes it did come up as a faint positive, so technically it did work. Anyone who was relying on this test for their results would be very confused because the positive is so faint. I was 20dpo and I can only imagine what the test line might look like for someone less far along.

I did the test again with fmu and, if anything, it seems almost fainter. Now I'm stressing out! Okay, I've heard that these internet tests cannot be relied upon so I will just go along as if everything is great. I am getting a beta drawn today so hopefully I will know my numbers on Monday.

Also, I tried an OPK just for kicks. I got a much stronger positive with the opk than with the HPT. If I didn't know better I'd say I was ovulating.

I almost want to have DH pee in a cup so that I can see what a negative on the hpt looks like.

YMMV! Good luck to everyone!
