Need Advice on discarding a temp....(m)

I am debating on wether or not to discard my temp from yesterday which was cd14 for me. It was higher than usual at 97.8 after not sleeping very well and waking up every 2 hours and then this morning it went down to 97.2. What do you think that I should do keep it as it is or discard it on FF? I am not sure if I have ovulated yet either since I had EWCM yesterday and it seems to be drying up today. I am just confused overall I guess especially with the temp drop today. I was thinking that maybe I ovulated on cd13 since my temp went up 2 degrees with a second day below coverline temp like you see in the TCOYF book but I had EWCM on cd14 that was not as stretchy as on cd13. I would greatly appreciate your opinions and advice on either of these or both. Thank you in advance.

A restless night's sleep and waking up every 2 hours would certainly be cause for discarding this temperature. You might wait a few days to see what your temps do, but it seems like you might want to discard it.

When this has happened to me, I've kept the questionable temp until a couple more days of temps seem to further invalidate it. Then I've gone back to discard the questionable temp.

Good luck to you!

I would keep it in for now- just make a note in the comments. You can take it out later if you feel it is affecting your coverline or "O" date poorly.

I hope you catch that "O"!

I agree with Tami and Tara. I record the temp, but also the funny circumstances that accompany it, and the wait 2 more days to see what my temps keep doing. Then you have a better idea. The frustrating thing about temping is that it is the whole picture, and not the individual temps, that let you know what is going on.
