I need to change my OBGYN. She is suppose to be the chief of OBGYN department in a hospital but I don't feel confident and comfortable with her. It takes 4 hours to be seen when you already an apppointment. It takes 1 hour to get through to make an appointment. She is never available to answer questions on the phone . It always has to go through the seccretary for questions. Where is the confidentiality in that? I had a M/C 2 days ago and there wasn't anybody covering for her. She is on Vacation now. When you do get the miracle chance to see her and ask a question, she answers to you like you are bothering her and that you are wasting your time. She can not spear a moment to reassure you anything that is bothering you. Colleagues of mine have the same OBGYN as me and believe it or not, their babies were not even delivered by her (total of 6 Babies!!!)
A few of them had M/Cs and her answer was:"If you miscarry, you miscarry, what can I do about it?". Maybe it may be so but there are ways of saying things. They were told that and expected to feel O.K. about it, just like that.

Wouldn't you get another OBGYN if you were me?
Thanks for your input,
RDN
