I know I ovulate, so that's not an issue. Anyone know of anything that may help with getting pregnant?? I heard about Robitussin, but what is it for?? Also, any foods I should be eating or rather not eating or any other herbal supplements that may help?? Just wondering!!

Hi, the Robitussin is for thinning your cervical mucous. THe sperm can only swim to you cervix if the mucous is thin. It's suppose to be an egg white consistency when you ovulate. It is a theory that for some women, their CM does not thin out enough and the sperm don't get through. I tried it this cycle and I don't know if it work or not. If you are going to try it only get the plain kind of Robi, The DM causes birth defects. You only want the expectorate kind with guanifiden(sp?). Good luck and baby dust to you.

There's different studies out there. Some say two teaspoons three times a day starting two days before you ovulate. I've found articles on line (and this is what I did) starting CD6 I started two teaspoons three times a day until CD16, that covers the whole week that I could possibly O. Some women take two teaspoons four times a day(the max dose). Good luck and lots of baby dust.

I usually start the robi the week before I expect to ovulate, I take 2tsp 2-3 times a day...for me it also gives me a runny nose and makes me clear my throat alot but I do notice a big difference in my CM when I use it. I usually have cream/lotiony CM but with Robi it's a little more watery...I never get EWCM.

Green tea also helps...V-8 splash is good, start taking those prenatals..lol...the list goes on and on...

Any questions just ask!

What does lotion CM mean? I'm due for my period and I'm getting the kind of CM.
