Need quick help!

Hi,

I am using the First Response Ovulation Predictor kit (where you urinate on

the stick) and it tells you if you have an LH surge. Does anyone know

what the test would show the day you ovulate? Or if you test too

late, such as the day after ovulation? Would you still show a

positive response or would it be the same as testing too early? I

bought the test on a whim and I am on day 12 of a 26 day cycle. I get

two lines with the test line lighter than the reference line.

According to the box "I have not yet reached my LH surge". Could this

also mean I already ovulated? I think I was supposed to ovulate early

today. Hubby is working late tonight, we plan to "get busy" but I am

afraid it may be too late. Any info on LH surge and these types of

tests will be much appreciated!

Well, I took mine (same brand as yours) today as I should O tomorrow or the next day. I still have not seen a dark line. Maybe we missed our O's because our cycles or off. I'd just keep checking on it. I plan to take another one tonight.

Oh and keep getting busy that will always help the ttc along :D

I used the First Response OPKs too. I tested negative on 7/31 late afternoon (CD11), positive on 8/1 CD12 (or darned close to positive) at 4:30PM, a definite positive on 8/2 around 10AM CD 13, and then a negative around 10PM that night (still CD13). So I'm assuming I O'd on Saturday (8/2) by those results.

So it shows the same result as pre-O negative. If you think you're about to O, test more than once a day to make sure you catch the surge. And it can't hurt to BD tonight anyway just in case!

Good luck to you!
