Need a TCOYF refresher - please....

Hi there! I am a former TTC'er from way back (99) and am happy to say I graduated (tearfully, joyfully!) and first off - I wish you all BEST WISHES....now for my question (as I loaned my TCOYF book out to someone a year or two ago - don't have it for reference!)

What is CM supposed to be like AFTER you've O'd? I am pretty sure that I did O (although not entirely sure on what day but I've got it in the ballpark I think) and now I'm having thick'ish, clumpy/cottage cheesey (sorry for the graphics) type CM and I'm wondering if that is "normal" ....I thought there was a page in TCOYF where it basically describes a typical month's CM from after your period to the start of your next one.

So if someone could let me know that would be great....I am hoping that this month was successful as I think we BD'd randomly around what I think was my O time. Not really actively TRYING at this point but sort of hoping as we wing it. My first was conceived with the help of TCOYF, OPKs and charting....hoping that this time around I sort of know my body a little better this time. Again, best wishes and thanks :-) Annie

After O, CM will typically dry up. It's not uncommon to experience a few days of creamy CM post-O, as this is brought on by higher estrogen levels. Creamy CM could be white and lotiony.

Good luck to you!
