I just got off the phone with the nurse there and PG test came back negative. She had already written me a Px for provera to induce AF :( Now, I talked to the nurse and she said pg test came back BFN, no if's and's or but's about it. IF I BD and concieved 8 days ago and did not implant yet, will the blood test still show a pg+? I don't want to start the provera until I know for 100% that I won't be flushing out a good BFP. I know I'm grabbing at straws but I don't have anything else to do. Plus I don't want to do the HSG if I don't have to.
Please if anyone knows I would love to know wether I should wait or not to start the provera.
TIA - sunny
PS - here's my chart I know it doesn't look good :(

I was planning on waiting until this time next week, that would put me over 14 since we BD and might of C. Why does it have to be SO damn difficult?
Thank you for your support though - I needed it!
HUGS and BFP vibes to you - and everyone else!
sunny :)
I was in the same place as you last month and I waited it out. I didn't even call the doc to get the script or blood test....I looked at chart and thought that I could've O'd and figured 2 weeks later, I'd get a BFP or AF.....I got AF. *sigh* But at least I don't have to wonder if I might have been PG. So I totally understand and support your decision to wait a week. HUGS

It does sound like you are going through some of the same stuff I did. I have always been irregular. I'd have AF every month for a couple months, and then not for three or four. I was on BCP for about five years to regulate it, and when I went off last December, I never O'd or got AF until it was induced by Provera in August.
Here's what my doc did--hormone blood tests, which came back normal according to her. She sent me to an RE who interpreted the same results as indicating a high LH to FSH ratio, which is indicative of PCOS. The RE then had DH give an SA, did an ultrasound on me and then more blood tests for cholesterol, glucose, insulin. The SA and blood tests were normal and the ultrasound also indicated PCOS (small cysts on my ovaries). So she is giving me Provera and then Clomid.
The most common cause of irregularity is PCOS, so I would definitely ask your doctor about it even if you have no other visible symptoms of PCOS (I don't). Thyroid issues can also cause a problem. And I'm sure there are other things out there that can cause irregular AF.
Hope your doc can give you the help you need and get you Oing regularly. GL!
