New and with many questions!

Hello there, I'm 24 years old and I'm just beyond confused. As of November 2008, my husband and I have been trying to concieve and currently I am waiting to see if I am pregnant. I OV on Dec. 25th, but I have a feeling I started OV on the 24th. We went out of town so and know we could not try that night so I didn't even bother taking the test. On the 25th when we got home I took the test and was a positive OV, but just realized what if I OV the day before and was still OV???? Also, we tried concieving on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 25th!!!

Anyways that is just one of my many questions, hope you are all patient. In my life, I've never had a pregnancy scare. Also what is worse is I've never kept track of my periods. So now that I am TTC I'm so lost as to when to expect my period. It's so frustrating. We badly want to concieve, we were highschool sweethearts and been married for almost 4 years now and it's just so perfect for us now.

It's hard for me to tell if I have a sympthom. What I have is Bloating (which honestly I'm always bloated), I have some cramps, (but it's almost that time of month I suppose), I've been a little tired but not to where I would think it's a sympthom.

Well since you are unsure of the exact date you O'd but you did have a + opk on the 25th it means that you could have O'd on the 24th, 25th, 26th, or even the 27th so if I were you I would time it from Oing on the 27th for testing purposes. The average LP by textbook is 14 days but it can vary some longer some shorter. I would measure out 14 days from the 27th and anticipate AF then, which hopefully would put you not testing too early. I mean if you didn't O until the 26th or 27th you would have been testing too early on the 4th and 5th since most implantations happen between 7-10dpo once again some happen earlier and some happen later

Thanks so much for your advice!

So when do you plan to test? Also, are you 28 days, 30 etc?

This is so much harder than I thought, lol. I feel I've done everything I can and now have to wait, wait and wait.

I don't know what my cycle will be this month. I had a d&c in October and my 1st cycle was short and annovulatory. My last cycle before the d&c was 34 but the cycle I got pg I O'd on cd24 so that cycl would have been 36 days. This cycle I O'd on cd14 using soy isoflavones and have added 100mg of b6 to elp with my LP and it can help extend it so I don't know what it will be. I tested today cd9 and will test probably daily until AF shows or I get a +. I'm a poas addict lol so I stocked up at the $store. Good luck to you as well !!!

Thanks so much for your support!

I'm so anxious, I'm a first timer on all this. I actually have a question if you can help. I've been reading that one of the main symptoms is breast tenderness...I don't ever get pains or anything such as even when I'm on my period, so that's one of the symptoms I've been hoping to have because to me that would be a big sign. So is it normal to not have that specific symptom?

Mostly I've been having bloating and cramps, my back ached today but I think it was from being on the computer all day, lol and I had a headache earlier but that's because I think I had a small breakfeast. I get myself all worked up and confused with these symptoms or just normal daily things. Also, I'm never tired unless I've had a straneous day but I've been just a little bit tired nothing out of the ordinary, I'm thinking it's from boredom but I'm not sure.

Hope this is not too much to ask for some advice, thanks for reading!

I would say it is normal to not have breast tenderness as a sign as I didn't have it at all with DD. The only symptom I had before my BFP was feeling a little nauseous, but I thought I was just getting the flu. All of my other symptoms showed up within a few weeks after getting that BFP. So you could still be PG without some of those common symptoms. Hope you get your BFP soon!

Pregnancy symptoms "usually" start around 6 weeks.
