Hi Everyone,

I am new to this board. I'm here because my DH and I wanted a honeymoom baby (we were married 5-mos ago!) Anyway, we didn't get one. . .I didn't want to get all caught up in TTC I thought it would just happen. My question is: When (during your cycle) is the best time to conceive? AF came on 10/4. ..any general suggestions? I tend to become obsessed with things -- I DON'T want to become obsessed with getting pregnant. . . just want the facts. It's been great reading everyone's posts! Good luck to everyone!!

The best time to conceive is right before or during ovulation. You an go to any drugstore and pick up OPK's (ovualtion predication kits) that will tell you within 48 hours when you are ovulation. The Kits tell you based on your number of cycle days when to start testing.

You can also monitor your CM (cervical mucus) when it becomes snotty & stretchy you are most fertile. You can also track your temps -I do not use this method but it seems like everyone else here does so I am sure they can help you with that!
