New charter with question....

Is my chart looking normal, and if so, when should I expect to O? And when do we need to BD? I have a 28-29 day cycle. http://www.FertilityFriend.com/home/2831d

Any comments welcome!

Your chart's looking fine; I know, it's always hard to tell that first cycle. Your temps won't give you any indication when to BD; they only tell you if O has already occurred. Since you are typically a 28-29 day cycle, you should probably BD on CD12 through CD17. If your DH's sperm count is normal, you can BD every day; if you're not sure or if he's got a low sperm count, BD just every other day. Your chart shows you've got sticky CM right now, which is typically not a "fertile" CM. As your O date approaches, you should notice it getting thinner, more watery, and that it may take on a stretchy consistency like egg whites.

Good luck to you!

Hi!

It's hard to tell much without any past charts to look at, but if you've got pretty regular cycles, you can kind of count back and guess when you might O. If you have a 14 day luteal phase, then you'll probably O around CD14. But your LP could be shorter, like 10 days, in which case you'll O a bit later. That said, every cycle is different, so you might O even earlier this month. The best thing to do while you are learning to chart and getting to know your fertility signs is to BD every other day from CD10 (today) until after you O.

Keep temping and checking CM and CP and start BDing! Have fun. Post your chart again in a few days and I'll take another look.

From what I can tell your chart looks pretty normal. It's still a little early to tell but everything does look fine.

If you have a regular 28/29 day cycle I would start BD'ing around CD11 and continue every other day until a day or two after you O (which the FF software will put in for you as long as you chart your temp and your CM). That would be the best advice. Some people tend to BD everyday from between that time but it's also good to give the old guy a rest in between as every other day is sufficient enough for you both.

Thank you very much Ladies! Your posts really help and give me an idea when to BD. I was confused last month and didn't start until CD15, and I think that was too late. I will post my chart again in a few days, and for sure after FF says I O'd. This is exciting!

Thank you!
