Hi guys,

Im Sam (21) and my DH Gavin (22) and we've been ttc #1 for four months now. I do post on ivillage.co.uk a lot and Ive decided to come and chat with you as well. Hopefully someone will be able to help with my problem. After babydancing yesterday, I started to bleed a little. I am on CD 13/27-35 and am charting with ff. Now as far as my chart tells me I am most fertile as I type, - however I am now scared of bd'ing just in case I am causing any damage to myself but I dont want to throw my opportunity away for this month. So should I or shouldn't I,

Loadsa Love and babydust to you all

Hi Sam,

Welcome to the board. Hopefully other people will try and answer this question for you because I'm not exactly sure if I am remembering correctly, but I think that I read somewhere that some women experience light spotting when or around ovulation time. Unfortunately I can't remember what caused it, that's where I hope someone else will jump in and give you their two cents.

I wish you the best of luck and hope that your visit is short & sweet!

Sam,

I don’t think you have anything to worry about. I get a little bit of red spotting around the time I O. As long as you’re not in pain, then I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Welcome to the board, and good luck to you!

Hi Julie and Melony,

Thanks for your advice. I do feel reassured about the whole bleeding thing now. Im hoping for a rise in my temps for tomorrow to confirm ovulation. That will be great seeing as it is my first attempt. Oh well...I'll just have to wait and see what tomorrow brings,

Thanks once again,

Sam,

I hope you did O. Make sure you write down the date somewhere. It might be useful to see if it happens again in another cycle.

Most likely the bleeding may be due to your husband bumping your cervix a little bit. It can happen! There's no harm done there. Also, it's possible to have spotting during ovulation too. HTH.
