Hey Lissa,

Sorry you guys couldn't do the Magic MIL thing. If I remember correctly, yours was exactly the same as mine so it should have happened yesterday morning for BD'ing spoon style. Please dont' take this the wrong way but I've been trying to keep up with you via your posts and don't understand why you would test so early. I *think* I just O'd yesterday which means I have a whole 2 weeks to go before even considering an HPT. Have you started charting your temps and/or CM yet to determine O date? That would really help you to see the big picture of how your cycle works and when would be the best time to test. I just hate to see you get so disappointed with BFN's that (to me) seem way too eary in your cycle.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that hurricane stays away from you! I've been through many of them myself being from south Louisiana and they can be scarey.

Lissa,

Kathy is right. Testing right after BD'ing (or right after O) is way too soon hun. You're just getting disapointed for no reason. Try to at least test until one or two days (minimum) after AF is due.

Good luck with TTC and sorry to hear about hurricane.

Take care.

i tested cause i've felt a bit off since my last AF, i didn't test cause i got some last night lol. i've been feeling sick for no reason and i wanted to see if its my imagination or other things. i still have either a few more days to af or another week.

and about this hurricane, i just hope it turns away from the states. i've never been away from my dh since he's been home on shore duty. i'm just crossing my fingers that the navy doesn't make him stay behind.

thanks for caring

Lissa,

Regarding the testing, gotcha! You did not really specify that part so I assumed you tested right after BD (my mistake!). If you want to start simple, at least keep track of your AF's and possible O's on calendar, might help you determine which days to BD for sure. Also, a lot of girls here like using temp charts, you might consider that on : www.fertilityfriend.com.

As for the hurricane, I have no idea what you are going threw since we don't have many of those up here in Canada (i live in Montreal). I guess it is an advantage but, on the other hand, we do get a LOT of snow and very cold weather in the winter, so, to each his own!

Our thoughts will be with you, hopefully it will loose strength while it is still off shore.

ok i was right to test yesterday, according to FF as of today i'm now at 10dpo. it has me at ovulating on cd12. it also says i need to test on 9/26, that would be an appropriate gift to give DH, either way after Hurricane Izzy i'm going to go get a bloodtest to find out why i'm either hungry all day or nauseated all day.

Hey Lissa,

Glad to see you got your coverline! I looked at that yesterday and was a bit dumbfounded because it looked to me like you had O'd but FF wasn't giving you the coverline. You and I were on the same cycle last month and MIL had us O'ing around the same day hehe Looks like your body had a mind of its own Good Luck on getting that BFP this month!

Lissa,

Based on your chart, I think I disagree with FF, and think maybe you O'd on CD 15. On CD 16 you had a big jump in temps which would be consistent with Oing the day before. And those temps have stayed up except for one day (which you can ignore). If you O'd earlier than CD15, I would say not before CD13, because CD 14 was the first day that your temp was higher than the previous 6 days. You might want to try using OPK in addition to the charting next month if you don't get the BFP this time. The OPK could help you narrow down the O day so you can focus your BD better.

Good Luck! And I have family in NC so I am praying too that the hurricane will weaken, unfortunately it doesn't look like its going to turn away! Just make sure you are somewhere secure!
