Not sure what to think

Hi,

My first day of last AF was August 26th. I believe I have a 26 day cycle and so would have O'd between the 5th and the 9th I think. BD'd on the 5th, early in the morning then DH was out of town until last night. Today noticed brownish spotting - is that too soon for implantation bleeding? I don't FEEL pg, so I am feeling like I should not get excited, but what other explanation could there be for the spotting?

Thanks for any advice/help.

I'm not sure how much help I'll be, but it is a possiblity, especially if you ovulated on the 5th. I'm not sure how long implanation can take, but I heard it's between 6 and 10 days after o. Maybe you ovulated sooner than you thought or implantation can happen sooner. Don't worry about the symptoms, not everyone will feel them early on, especially not this early. I know it's hard, but just try to wait a few more days. Maybe your body will be able to tell you more then.

Good luck

Hi Donna,

Just wanted to tell you I really hope that is implantation bleeding...

I think typically implantation happens between days 5-12...but of course, anything is possible! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Take care,

The spotting could also be from ovulation. Some people do see a little spot around that time. Also sometimes hormones will fluctuate a little bit enough to allow a small release of lining. In your case, hoping it was implantation. Good Luck!

Ahhh,

That could be it, too, because **IF** I am on a 28 day cycle, then O would be today...

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
