Hi Everybody,

My DH, DS and I recently moved to northern Virginia from southern California and we're gearing up for baby #2!! Can any body recommend a Dr. that they LOVE in or around Reston (including McLean, Vienna, Fairfax, etc.)?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hope to

My OB was in Warrenton which is probably decently out of your way. He was amazing though so I'll put it out there.. Dr. Jeffrey Bell. Loved him!

Thanks, Chrissy (and everyone else for their help).

I have been looking at the healthcare for women practice in Herndon, so I'm glad to hear a positive recommendation. Is there a doctor in particular within that practice that you like?

I had my youngest son at Fauquier and they were great. I was a little nervous because if anything went wrong I'd much rather be at Fairfax but everything was uncomplicated and the nurses and my OB were fabulous. I like the small, comfy feel there.

Good luck!

I don't know if they work with midwives, etc. You could certainly call and ask. Hehe, I was hesitating in mentioning my doctor, because I don't want her to get so booked up she can't fit me in! LOL. She is Dr. Amy on their web site. She's excellent, I am so glad I found her. I had an abnormal pap recently, and needed follow up. It was scary, but she took such good care of me. And her philosophy is a little more hands off, I would think. For example, she preferred to wait it out and see rather than treat right away without knowing all the facts (which is what happened to my sister). Consequently, I think I have a better chance of conceiving since they didnt do anything drastic. Since I'm TTC #1, I can't say more than that, but I have full confidence in her. Oh, she was recommended by a coworker who recently had surgery with her.
