O Clarification, please?

Okay, so I realize that O shows up on your bbt chart as a jump in temperature, between .4 and .6 degrees on average.

Is this ANY jump that is that much, or just any jump that goes above your coverline?

For example... my temps have been fluctuating between 97.1 and 97.4 for the first 12 days of my cycle.

Sometimes a very slight rise, or a slow rise, can indicate O. It really depends on the woman, and the overall pattern of her chart. Have you been charting all along, or is this your first cycle charting? When there's some history established it can be easier to determine O based off prior O

Well, I have been charting for several months, but I just started doing it online... I haven't been ovulating, and I'm on clomid now... here is this month's chart so far (cycle 3 on clomid), I can't figure otu how to get the link to last month's chart...

Looking at the chart, it really doesn't look like O has taken place yet. Have you had any EWCM? It's not uncommon for a pretty late O on Clomid.

Let me make sure I understand. This is your 3rd Clomid cycle and you haven't O'd once on it? What dose are you on? Has your Dr been doing CD 21 bloodwork to confirm whether or not you've actually O'd?

Sorry I ask so many questions. I'm just trying to get a good idea of what's going on. I stopped Oing last year, so I had to start Clomid back in December. Even on Clomid I still O'd pretty late in my cycles. There are a lot of women whose Dr's prescribe Clomid for them,

Oh no, I wasn't trying to say you didn't O last cycle. You definitely DID O last month. I was saying that in looking at your chart last month I can confidently say you have not O'd yet this month. Sorry for the confusion there.

I really do hope this is your month. Just remember to keep BDing until you can confirm that O has happen (3 days of sustained higher temps). GL!!

Thank you for that clarification!

We have been faithfully BD'ing every other day all week and will continue on through a temp rise...

I'm really hoping that this will be the magic

OMG, that was the side effect I had, too. Isn't it awful? It always seemed worse at night. I'd wake up in a puddle of sweat and need to get up and change. Icky!!
