It's been so long since I've posted here, and I'm not sure where this should go, but here goes anyway.

I started visiting this Board a year ago when DH and I decided to TTC. After months and months of no BFP and seeing all my friends (and lots of newcomers) graduate without me, it hurt to much to keep visiting. Happily, I don't recognize any of you, so I hope none of you have been here long!

To try to keep this brief (yeah, right): This was cycle 15 for me and DH and we finally got our BFP! I started seeing an RE this month and was put on progesterone at 9dpo. That's the only difference about this month. I thought maybe some of you would like the nitty gritty ('cause that's what I always wanted to read).

-I don't get EWCM. Nothing remotely close. I tried robbi. Grapefruit juice. V8 splash. Guafenisin tablets. And so much water that I thought I might dissolve. Still no EWCM. But a post-coital exam this month showed lots of happy swimmers "up there" 12+ hours after BD. So lacking EWCM is NOT an infertility diagnosis!!!!

-I O regularly. DH's SA was fine. We BD'd like champs during the proper time every month. I O on cd14/15 with a 13/14 day LP.

-I had an HSG in the fall. Tubes are open.

-I had a progesterone check last fall. 9.5 on 8dpo. OB said that was fine. Now that I have an RE, she says that would have supplemented. What's past is past.

-This was my first month with an RE. She monitored my ovulation (a single, 21mm follie) and all hormones were great, until an 8dpo progesterone of 10.2. I started supplements the next day. One week later, I have a 14dpo HCG of 81 and progesterone of 27. I am finally pregnant! Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not.

-Symptoms: NO SORE BBS! This is very unusual for me. I get super-sore BBs every month. This month, nada. At this point (16dpo) they are full, dull and semi-sore, but nothing like my usual can't-walk-down-the-stairs agony. I've been gassy. Not "tooting" but gassy pains. Definitely unusual for me. That's it. Otherwise I am completely symptomless.

In closing, enjoy this board & each other and try not to give up hope (though goodness knows I did). I made so many amazing friends here, some of whom I've now met in Real Life!! Learn from each other and support each other. As you all know, no one can understand TTC pain like someone else that is going through this. It is the hardest thing I have ever been through.

Good luck to each and every one of you!!!! Thanks for letting me "intrude"!
