OPK and ovulation

Hello Ladies,

I have been temping for a while (every day at 6.30) but since my temps seem erratic y started complementing this month with OPK sticks. So I got a +OPK on CD 15 but my temperatures did not seem to detect ovulation. So, basically I would like to know if you can have a +OPK and not ovulate at all (is it common?). The other thing that might be messing my temperatures is that DH constantly changes AC temperature at night...so some days i wake up cold, and maybe that is messing my temps?
I also noticed that sometimes my basal thermometer (which is relatively new) takes more than 10 minutes to measure...and what's worst, I replaced my first basal thermometer because it was also taking more than 10min to measure!
Has anyone experienced the same thing?
Well I am just worried because my temps are so erratic and I do not know how to fix it (I have hypothiroidsm but my thyroid is working fine, I did all the check ups a few months ago).
Thanks ladies for your replies in advance!

Thanks Sam,
I did not check my CM during that time frame, just on CD15 which I had EW so I was sure opk prediction was ok. But then my temps did not seem to confirm, as seen on my chart.
My oldest BT is 6 months old and my newest is 3 months old....I think they are pretty new but I am getting the most weird results, for example I used the newest thermometer for this:
*one day I temped and got 1st time 97.18 and immediately after (ok, maybe a minute after, still on my bed, did not stand up or anything) and I got 97.80, a 0.62 increase in such short time!!
*one other day, I temped first time 97.15 and second time 96.34, a 0.81 difference in such short time again!
So that is weird, I will check the old time thermometer on line as you suggest. Thanks so much for your reply.
