I received a positive OPK test on an internet cheapie strip this morning and I am going to test again this afternoon with a more expensive one.

O typically takes place between 12-36 hours following your + OPK. It sounds like you were closer to the 12 hour end last cycle. Even if you do O within 12 hours, the egg will still be alive for 12-24 hours after that, so I think it would be okay to wait until tonight to BD. Definitely try and BD today, though! GL!

To answer your other question....

Semen floats, and CM will shrivel up and sink to the bottom. Try and "scoop" some from your cervix, and drop it in a cup of water and there is your answer!

There's no way to know if you'll O as soon as you did last month. I usually have 2 days of + OPK's, but I've also had up to 4 days before finally Oing! It can vary from cycle to cycle. If you BD last night then you are definitely covered until tonight. While an egg generally lives about 24 hours, sperm usually lives about
