OPK Question

I am on ttc cycle #3, A friend gave me 4 unused OPK tests to use last month and I did not have enough to detect ovulation. I bought a pack of 7 Target brand to use this month. I started today (cd 9, 3rd day of sticky cm). Hopefully my 7 will last me though ovulation!
Last month, all tests were neg even though I had a temp rise 2 days after my last neg test. A friend told me it was because I was testing in the morning. MUST I test during the day? I am a huge water-drinker and therefore need to pee about every hour. I am so addicted to water that if I do not drink it I get headaches and fatigue. There is NO WAY I can stay out of the bathroom for 4 hours during the day to test. Your feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

1 - Weekdays, at work, is where I drink the most water and need to go to the ladies room each hour on the hour (sometimes more). I stop drinking water by 3pm, go to the bathroom a couple of times with water-diluted urine, then take my OPK around 5:30 - 6pm; I've gotten a positive this way. (And then, I resume water drinking!)
2 - Weekends, when I'm not as diligent or near a water cooler... I test with second morning urine around 10-11 am... I've also gotten a + this way.
Good luck to you!
