can someone tell me how these things work? I got a faint line on Saturday, a dark as the control line on Sunday and a faint line today-got a temp dip today too-so when does that mean I O'd?

An OPK lets you know that you will be O-ing in the next 24-48 hours. I believe that it detects an LH surge, which happens around O time. When you get a line that is darker than the control line, that indicates that you should O in the next 24-48 hours. (So, you should BD when you get the dark line.) I hope this has helped some!

Since your surge line on Sunday was as dark as the control line, that was your sign to BD like crazy! That LH surge means you will ovulate within 24-36 hours, and that you are in your two most fertile days. A positive result can be anything as dark as or darker than the control line.

Some women do get a temperature dip on the actual day of ovulation, which may explain today's temp. Watch for your temp tomorrow; if you O'ed, you'll see a noticeable increase in temp this time.

Good luck to you!
