OPK + vs - ?

The doctor said they need proof of ovulation before they can start running infertility tests to rule out issues.

So I started opk this month. i can see lines getting darker, and a possible positive lh surge, but then again, im not sure.

I attached the sequence. I think i had positive surge on 12-27.But there was a line on 12-26 and then on 12-28 in the morning. Plus the test line was never darker than the control line at any time. that makes me worry that i didnt produce enough lh to release an egg.

so what do you think? did i have an lh surge? what day? or did i not have one afterall?

i tried bbt but either thermometer messed up or i jjst wake up early too much but i have yet to have any distinct pattern, so i cant detect O from bbt.

i definitely had SHOW cervix 12-25 through 12-28 so i'm hoping i did have lh surge good enough to have ovulated.

The 12/28 12:30 test looks like its getting close to a positive, it could be that you tested too early in the day.  The line the next morning is still pretty dark, so that's a good sign.  Is it possible to try mid afternoon, I'm not sure what the directions are for your test?

With BBT, it shouldn't matter what time you wake up in the morning as long as you have a solid few hours of sleep before you test.  Here is an article on it, I hope it helps: http://www.ivillage.com/basal-body-temperature-bbt-information/6-a-144562

Also, the CL of the Fertility Charting forum would love to help you with figuring it all out, here is a link to it: http://www.ivillage.com/forums/pregnancy-parenting/trying-conceive/fertility-charting-natural-family-planning
