Is an orgasm MANDATORY?
| Mon, 10-06-2003 - 1:38pm |
OK girls, I am just going to tell you all straight...I'VE only had 1 orgasm in my 4 years with my husband (SHHHHH!) and the time I DID have one, I got preggo with my first daughter...for the rest of the months, I have not had an Orgasm OR gotten preggo again...very frustrated. It is required to orgasm to get preggo? I heard that it is because it helps the cervix dip into the pool of sperm better...grrrr...frustrated...
Any advice?? Tried EVERYTHING (toys, movies, "sex vacations", etc)
Love, Abbey

I won't jump on my soapbox about telling children/teens masterbation is BAD/DIRTY/ETC and then wondering why we can't have an orgasm as an adult---well because its bad/dirty/etc of course ;) /I lied, steps down from soapbox/
Good luck, I'm sure your PG/Orgasm was just a con-inki-dink
GL to you sweetie!

And no, you don't need to orgasm to get PG!
Good luck!

I have heard that it is good to have an orgasm but bad to do kegels. I've read that Kegels are suppose to help eliminate sperm but an orgasm will help bring the sperm up into the cervix???
See, it just goes to show you there are sooooooo many differnet "theories" and "opinions" out there. All I know is I did kegels after sex (with no O) and I got pregnant the 2nd month. It worked for me but it might not work for everyone. The ONLY thing I did different the month I got pregnant was take Robitussin which helped increase my CM.

Hmmm...I might have to give it a try and see what happens if things don't pan out this month :)
