To orgasm or not?

...immediately after ejaculation? It's my understanding that this will pull more sperm into your uterus. Does anyone feel this helped them conceive? I know Dr Shettles believes this increases your odds of having a boy. I'm not sure I really buy into that theory. I don't know. First and foremost, we want to get pregnant. We would be delighted with a girl as we already have a boy.

I don't know if orgasms will help you conceive one sex versus the other but I do believe it helps. I try and make sure that I orgasm every time we try for pg because I notice that when I don't more "leaks" out or when I use instead cups more is left in the cup, and having more in gives a better chance at pg. I'm not so sure that the Shettles Method really works at all, I've known people who have tried it to conceive a girl vs a boy and she ended up w/ 4 boys and when she finally stopped using that method she conceived a girl. I would just bd and hope for a girl but I don't really think that aside from really scientific means like gender selection you'd be able to significantly up your chances of having a girl vs a boy. I HTH and good luck getting your girl.

I' ve read that there is really no scientific evidence that anything you do, i.e. the way you bd, or O, has anything to do with gender selection.
