Ovulation Question

Hi,

Need your opinions, please.

I had a m/c back in March. Before that, my cycles were 28 days. Since the m/c, my cycles are now 30/31 days (and PMS has become 100x worse!).

I know the books all 'say' that ovulation usually occurs halfway through your cycle.

Based on my CM (that's the only way I really know how to tell if I'm fertile), I ovulated either last Thursday or Friday. This would be on day 11-12 of my cycle.

I know everyone is different, but is there such a thing as ovulating too early? Is a longer than normal luteal phase ok?

Sorry to sound so uninformed, but I am new at this.

Thanks for any info you can give me!

I have to disagree with the books. Ovulation is different for every person. Generally it is around 14 days before your next AF, but it differs greatly. For example, I ovulate 10 days before my next AF. I have a 24 day cycle, so I have 14 days pre-o and only 10 after. Some women have long luteal cycles and still acheive pregnancy. I would check out Fertility Friend chart gallery. You can search for all different charts. You can search for charts just with long LPs to see what others with a long LPs look like.

Good luck!
