I believe it's different for everyone. Some people's temp goes off the chart while others increase slightly. I think that is why it's important to chart to see the trends your body has.
I think the average increase is about 0.5 degrees F, but some are higher like 1 degree F and some are as low as 0.2. If yours is low its okay you just have to be able to see the trend on your chart.
In general, what you have to look for is first, watch for your highest pre-O temp after AF is gone entirely (including any spotting). On the day your temp goes 0.2 degrees or more over that temp, you have probably O'ed.
I know it can be confusing... most of us are lucky enough to see dramatic enough shifts that it's not an issue. You may occasionally have to disregard a pre-O temp in making this determination too.
Thanks a lot for clarifying, that helps. So the actual temp doesn't have to be perfect, I just need to see the trend of temps going up and staying up after O, is that correct.
