So, I'm on CD 11 and as the ovulation day nears, I am getting more and more anxious!

Dont' tell hubby what CD it is so he doesn't feel as much pressure?
I dont know, my DH is kind of the same way. Not that he's NEVER had performance issues, but he's had I think 4 times in the 2 months that we've been trying where he didn't get off. Grrr... sigh. :-P

The only thing I could think is to take the pressure off of it. I know that DH used to hate when it was demanded around my time of the month. He always felt like it was chore and there wasn't anything glamourous about it. Maybe make a plan to BD every other day no matter what time of the month it is or every couple days and when you know you're on that CD, try and seduce him with a little lingerie or something to spice up the evening. Do it throughout the month so it's not so unusual and what he doesn't know as far as where you are at or when you're ovulating, won't hurt him. :) Make ovulation sex like regular sex. Normal, fun, exciting. Good Luck!

Thanks for the tips! I guess we can try the every other day method and see if that works. I had been just using opk's to pinpoint ovulation and then trying to target those days, but that doesn't seem to be the best plan of action. I had also been trying to make it more exciting, but I think that just created even more pressure. I guess I'll just try to play it cool... and definitely not mention it!

Isn't it so frustrating though that all of these random issues begin after you start TTC?! How long did it take you to conceive??

I think men see that we want it so bad so they feel so obligated which creates issues on their end. I actually did the play it cool thing too. It worked a lot better. ;) Unfortunately for us, it took us 10 months to get pregnant and he really started to think it was him. :( That was just so hard to hear how down he was about it. Luckily though, one day during a fun little nooner, we got lucky, literally! ;) I hope you have a MUCH easier time! Good luck!!

Thanks for the sweet words of encouragement! The last time I was pregnant, it took us 7 months to conceive. I am hoping... really hoping it doesn't take that long, but I think it's just the luck factor like you said. :) I'm feeling better about just relaxing and not making it such a big deal... thanks again so much!
