So I posted last month that I wasn't sure if I was having implantation bleeding or if my period was coming for the first time since having my ds (14 months old). Well I am pretty sure it was AF. I say pretty sure because it lasted a few days and I needed to use a tampon...sorry tmi, BUT it wasn't like a period that I have ever had before. Usually I have a very heavy first few days, and bad cramping etc. Nothing like that. After my dd, my first AF was a little different and the next one came right on schedule, I am usually right on 30 days. And they got more and more like the good old AF I am used to. Well I am at 31 days today and no AF and no signs of her either. I am so confused and figure I should just test, but I almost don't want to know. Right now is not the best timing, but we never prevent because I am terrified that if I do one day I will have problems and not get to be pg again...make sense? UGH I don't know. I am trying to wait a few more days to see if she shows, but I have been having pregnancy symptoms too...would you test now?

If your mentally not ready to test, then I would wait a couple days. It could just be your system regulating itself. Give your self a couple days to get your mind around the idea and for AF to show up.
Good luck
This is something you have complete control over.
If you're breastfeeding it could take a while for your AF's to be back to normal schedule. I know with me I'd have AF than skip a month or 2 than it started up again. Also the flow was different and took a while to get to what it 'used' to be. So it could very well just be your body's still adjusting to having an AF again. However if you are not using protection it is always best to take a test. I mean AF pretty much means that your body has started ovulating again.
