So DH and I have reached our TTC deadline, he's willing to give it another 6 months as long as we seek medical help. He wants me to go to get checked out, and he will have another SA and speak with the doctor that done his Vas reversal.
My question is, can I see an OB/GYN for fertility issues or do I need to see a specialist? we don't have any specialists

You can start with an OB or even a gp. My gp started the b/w...they'll check it on cd 3 to check a bunch of hormone levels. The b/w after O is the progesterone check -usually done at 7dpo. Would you consider temping or opk's just to confirm O & get accurate b/w done? My gp referred me to an RE who is luckily 10 mins away. He ran additional b/w at cd 16. All of that checked out & the next step is an HSG to check that your tubes aren't blocked. I had that done at the hospital & that is done before cd10.
Maybe a round or 2 of clomid will do the trick? You guys might not need to jump straight to ivf -iui could work well for you & is much cheaper. They'd "wash" dh's sperm & inject the strong ones. My RE charges around $1000 cdn & includes fertility drugs too. Fx'd it doesn't come to that though! Good luck Sophie :)

I'm going to a walk-in clinic tonight to see if i can get a referral to the OB/GYN specialist, my periods are regular but only last 2-3 days and I don't get much (if any) EWCM. Hopefully they will come up with something that helps me (and DH's low count)! I really want this to be our year...
I haven't been to the clinic yet as DH has been working away from home, but I did call them to find out what steps we need to take and they said they would probably refer us to an RE in Edmonton as we don't have any where we live (we only have OB/GYB's). I don't see how that would work, we live 5 hrs from Edmonton!

I went to the walk-in clinic and they were full for the day so I managed to get an appointment for Jan 17th (to get my referral). I'm gonna go back there tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am because I'm really not feeling good. In the past
I went back to the clinic today but they were closed :( I guess I'll just wait for my appointment on the 17th.
I have often wondered whether I'm actually ovulating because most months I never get any EWCM, although when I used OPK's they were positive for around 1-2 days... I don't know :( this was the first first month that I had a 2-day period, usually they are 4-5 days.
I'm still having period like cramps, but my stomach doesn't seem so bloated this morning. I just pray that it's nothing serious and that we can start our IUI next month.
I spoke too soon regarding the EWCM, all day I've had huge amounts of the stuff! a mix of watery and stretchy... WTH is going on! I can't wait to see an OB/GYN and get some answers for all of this. My body has been screwed this whole cycle! Here's a run down of what happened:
Went on holiday Dec 7th
was due to O around the 8th-9th
BD'ed a lot while away, and wasn't really thining about TTC.
Had pink spotting on 12th, just once when I wiped then nothing since.
25-27th started getting minor cramps
27th got AF (not a heavy flow, but not light either)
29th AF finished
Jan 2nd Started getting cramps and backache.
Jan 7th EWCM - surely not O already, I usually O around CD 18, this is only CD12!!
this is just another mean joke from mother nature before we start our fertility treatments, guarenteed!!
That sucks that the clinic was closed -hopefully you're feeling better. With all this ewcm, maybe the cramping has been O related? You never know! Mother nature might be throwing you for a loop :) She's a tricky bugger!!!!
