My husband and I have been TTC for 4 years. I have PCOS and endometriosis, but recently had surgery to help correct it. I was told by my doc that I am "good to go" and should have no problem getting pregnant. We have been having sex every other day as instructed by the doc and it has been 4 months and no success. So I decided I want to know EXACTLY when I'm ovulating, and since my periods are never consistent, I want to get an ovulation kit. So which would be better to get, ovulation kit or fertility kit???

Hi Jen! I'm sorry it's been such a hard TTC road for you. Even when things are good to go, sometimes it still takes time. 10 months for myself. In any case, I absolutely LOVE (as do a few other members here) the ClearBlue Easy Digital Ovulation kit. I bought mine on Amazon.com so I got more test sticks than purchased in store for a great price. In any case, there are no questions, a circle means you're not ovulating yet, a smiley means you're ovulating within the next 24-48 hours. :) I paired it with checking my cervical mucus and position with a couple other things and finally got the perfect recipe! :)

Best of Luck to you!!!

Oh that's a good point, with PCOS, OPKs and Fertility Kits can faulter. A BBT themometer will help you learn when ovulation is coming and when it's here. Add that to your chart and you should be armed and dangerous! ;)

I agree with PP's, I used the clearblue easy digital OPK's. I also charted my BBT and I used countdowntopregnancy.com's website to track it. I am one of the few who are not a fan of fertility friend.

The second month I used the OPK's and temp, I got my BFP. Tracking you cervical mucus and position also helps...
