Hi...I have been off the pill for 3 mos.
I started my period on the 17th of September, my cycles are 27-28 days long.
I waited 10 days to use an ovulation predictor kit per the kit's instructions.
The test was positive on the very first day (today), which means I will be ovulating within the next two days.
My cervical mucus only stretches about a centimeter and is completely clear.
My questions are:
It seems I have a long luteal phase - is that okay?
I've read that cervical mucus should be stretching up to an inch a during the 3-5 days prior to ovulation. If I'm going to ovulate within 48 hours, and my mucus is not sufficiently stretcy, might I have a problem conceiving?
Also - My husband and I BDed last night and this morning and probably will again tonight. Is it too much?
He is 27 years old and I am 22.
Thank you!

2. My EWCM starts out stretching about 1 centimeter, then progresses to "the good stuff" in the coming days. It's quite likely you've got even "better stuff" up there by your cervix that you're not observing; I doubt you've got a problem. Some women conceive with just creamy CM, so the EW you've got should be fine!
3. If your DH has a normal sperm count, you're probably okay. The more often your DH ejaculates, the "less concentrated" his sperm count will be. It's typically recommended to BD once every 24 hours when the man has a normal sperm count... but you guys are probably okay.
Good luck to you!
