I am hoping that you can all help me. All the ladies on this message board are so helpful. I really enjoy reading the various postings...I learn at least 1-2 new things everyday...thanks!
I need advice regarding my very wacky temps. You can view my temps via the following:

My last MP was on July 28th...I have been charting my temps since August 1st (CD5) I have been taking my temps with a basal thermometer at the same time every morning (8am). My DH hands me the thermometer once he wakes me up, so there is no activity before I take my temps. I wake up and the thermometer goes right into my mouth = ) I can not seem to understand why my temps fluctuate so much?? Am I doing something incorrect? Our basal thermometer is brand new (we bought it 6 weeks ago) Is there something wrong with me...I am so worried. I can not seem to pinpoint when I will ovulate or if I have ovulated.
I have irregular periods, hence is why my Dr. and I decided to try and chart them before I go on Clomid. DH went for a sperm analysis last week and we received the results yesterday...he is perfect...everything was fine. We were so happy...I think he was more worried than me. Before my Dr. wants to put me on Clomid, he wants me to go for blood work to check my thyroid, etc. I will need to go for the blood work 3 days after my next mp starts. Once he has the results, etc then he will determine if Clomid is the way to go.
Any advice regarding my charts would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you and good luck to everyone!!!

Hi! I think your chart really is not that bad. Your temps can be a little erratic for a lot of reasons: restless sleep, different amounts of sleep, room temp changes, and other disturbances. From looking at your chart, you may have ovulated since your temp has risen above your last several days, but you will have to wait and see over the next few days if the temp stays up. The best way is to not worry about each individual temp but wait til the end of the month and then look at the whole chart. At that point, I bet you will be able to see whats happening, or whats not. Best of luck to you.

I just wanted to let you know mine are the same. I hardly ever have pretty charts either-and this month I didn't ovulate until CD30! I bought some ovulation test sticks and it helped me a lot since I have irregular cycles and wacky temps. Good luck
