OK, I know you're not supposed to do this. Bad me, very bad me, but now I'm in a whirlwind state.
First, let me back track just a bit :p
I've been lurking here a long while now. I made a post awhile back(2 or 3 months ago) with a few questions - I'm the odd ball with the whack cycle (every 3-8 weeks I get my period) but I do always ovulate 14 days before my next period.
Anyway, today AF should have showed up, but it didn't. I'm not complaining.
I wouldn't say I have anything unusual to typical incoming period symptoms - a little bloated/gassy (yuck), tired, dull cramping, etc. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Yesterday I decided to take a test because my 100% sure sign that my period is coming that I always get and always have gotten 24 hours never came. A little TMI - I get the runs :/ Just once, but that's how I always know. When I didn't, I got a little antsy and a girlfriend of mine had jokingly said that maybe I was pregnant, so of course I got excited and had to go pee on a stick.
The urine was kind of diluted down, its been hot so I've been drinking a lot and going pee every 15-30mins because of it.
Anyway, took the test, waited about 30secs, saw the control line, but then no second line. Even though the test says to wait 30secs to 5mins before reading the results, I got discouraged and threw it out. Today, I spotted the test on top of my trash and noticed there was now a faint second line.
Now I'm on edge and I know, heard it over and over again, you're not supposed to read them after 10mins, but sheesh!
I've never had one of the tests do that before. Its one of the ones from early-pregnancytest.com
I have one more left (I got a bulk pack because I'm a dork :p) and I'm going to wait to try again tomorrow with FMU, assuming AF is still a no show.
I think I just need a little calming down because now I'm all shaky and I don't want to get my hopes up. Thoughts, opinions, experiences on this situation?
I know I can't be the only bad one whose looked a day later and got a little too excited.
