I apologize for TMI but I do not understand...I am hoping you can help me stop obsessing that every little change could be a sign of pg. LOL!

I am 5 DPO in 3rd cycle TTC #2. My CM has been dry the past few days. I just went to the bathroom and noticed a lot of CM. It was thicker than my normal EWCM and not completely clear. But it was stretchy! My dh and I have not bd in a few days, so I know it is not semen. I have not noticed this in the past 2 cycles. What is going on? Check out my chart. Thanks for any feedback!

I think its probably just CM due to the secondary estrogen surge. Every cycle the estrogen increases again after ovulation and this can lead to additional fertile type CM (creamy to EW) You may not get it each cycle because your hormones can vary from cycle to cycle. I know some people think creamy CM is a pregnancy sign, but I think its probably to early for much in the way of PG signs and the creamy CM is not a reliable one anyway. A lot of people get creamy CM post o and aren't pg.

Good Luck!

I don't know anything about OPK really, but it would indicate your ovulated when FF said you did. Your CM indicates you ovulated on day 15. But if I just looked at your temps, they were pretty high at the beginning of the cycle, making me think there hasn't been a clear shift. Everything taken together, it looks like you geared up to O and didn't. But without any previous history to go by, it is hard to tell. I occasionally have stretchy CM after O, so I know it happens. But if I were you, it wouldn't hurt to make use of the CM for some BDing, just in case you haven't ovulated. Good luck!
