Hi everyone!
I've been taking pre-natal vitamins forever, but wanted to see what brands you use and if you like them. I think I want to change.

So, please share with us all:
Brand, Where you get them, Price, Quantity

Thanks!

I love the Rainbow Light Just Once Prenatal Multivitamin. They have no fillers or preservatives and are easy on the stomach. My only complaint is that they are a little on the big side. The bottle I buy has 50 tablets and you can buy them from almost anywhere (I get mine from Walmart). I don't remember how much they are though...

Hey there!

I just saw your post. I've been taking a CVS brand that actually has a prenatal and another with DHA. I think the 30 day supply is $14.99.

Good luck to you!

I take One-A-Day Women's Prenatal. It comes in a two pack Multivitamin/multimineral and DHA supplement. each little bottle has 30 pills. Their prices vary from store to store but It's typically around $20 at walmart.

I take the Nature Made brand. You can find it anywhere and I think it's about $13 for 90 but you can get a bigger bottle too. It's very easy on the stomach and when you compare it to other brands it has the same stuff!

Thanks everyone for your responses! Wal Mart used to have this brand that I liked. They were small and pink, so you took two, but seemed to be easier on my stomach and much easier to swallow.

But I haven't been able to find them, so I switched to Trader Joes. They are bigger and harder to swallow. I have to cut them in half, but then you taste them more.

Thanks again!

I take Twinlab Dr Greene prenatals. I got mine at Walmart on clearance so I don't know if they still carry them. I think Target also carries them.
I don't remember the cost exactly, but I think it was around $13 or 14 for a 60 day supply.

Pros:
- No added sodium, artificial colors, sweeteners, preservatives, tablet binders, or coatings.
- They come in a 60 day supply so I don't have to buy them as often (ie: REMEMBER to buy them as often...I have the WORST memory...LOL)
- They contain an easy to digest form of Iron that doesn't make you constipated

Cons:
- They're a little on the large side (but the capsule is easy to pull apart so I often add the powder to yummy milkshake or something...hey, it's an excuse to make a milkshake! LOL)
- You have to take 2 a day
- They don't contain DHA (but I don't find this to be a huge con, I just take 3-100 mg DHA tabs a day)

I take Docosavit (generic for Tandem DHA). I like it a lot- have not had any trouble with nausea or fishy taste. Since it's generic, it's only $10 for a 30 day supply with my insurance.

I like Buried Treasure's liquid prenatal vitamin. I just mix 2 tablespoon in my juice in the morning and it's done. I don't taste it and I don't have to fight to get down a pill.:)
