Problem swallowing prenatals

Does anyone know of any SMALL prenatal vitamins. I can barely swallow pills, the size of birth control pills and those little red sudafeds are my limit. I doubt they make prenatals so small but does anyone know of any small ones?

I have a solution for you! I have trouble with pills too so I take Pre Care Chewable Pre-natals. They work really well and have zero vitamin A in them (which is supposed to be not good prenatally). You can get a script from your doctor for them, they don't taste icky and you won't get an upset tummy.
You can see them here on their website: http://www.ther-rx.com/products/precareprenatal.asp
Hope this helps.

Two of my close friends were in the same boat and they were both told they could use Flinstone vitamins... yup! The kids vitamins provide thesame stuff! :-)

Just curious why vit A is bad prenatally. I eat a lot of carrots which have a lot of vit A, is this bad for the baby?
TIA!

Bethanee- Thanks for the nifo, i actually noticed a few sites said the same thing. Im looking at this site Claire gave but if those end up being horrid to chew ill go for the flinstones;) Ive always loved flinstones! Thanks;)
beach_mel- Id try that if i wasnt allergic to bananas, i wonder if other fruits would work if i chewed them up right. Thanks for that information though:)
The suggestions for kids vitimins are interesting, you would just have to check to see if one or two covered everything you should be getting INCLUDING FOLIC ACID one of the most important pre-natals.
Here are some links on Vitamin A & adverse effects on pregnancy: P.S. my ob didn't have a clue about this so I've changed ob's.
