Hi Sharon! It is my understanding that pre"o" progesterone levels are extremely low- like less than 5. Your post "o" progesterone may be low for being post "o", but they will still indicate whether "O" happened or not. Low levels of progesterone post "o" will be like 7-12...they like to see it over 15, but it will still be much higher than pre "O" levels. Does this make sense? I feel like I'm talking in a circle!LOL!
Second - If you are PG and have low O levels, it's possible to still sustain the pregnancy. If it's a persistent problem, some women are given vaginal suppositories or cream for their luteal phase. Nothing to worry about!
