when you use it vaginally it absorbs better. Get some pads, b/c it will leak!! and it will start to melt immediately...it'll be fine, trust me. it's just kinda nasty. but it does absorb better.

I had to use them vag when I was TTC DS and I was told that it absorbed better and got to the source quicker than taking it orally. I just pushed it as far as I could up there and

okay i am on prochieve which is the cream that you insert vaginally. i hate to ask, but how much is the pill verses the cream, i pay 135 a month, insurance does not cover it. is the pill cheaper. i hope you dont mind....

I don't remember it costing much of anything. I think insurance covered it for me or either it was very cheap but I can't remember. I don't know the comparison as far as effectiveness b/w the pill and cream. The cream sounds messy though.

the cream is not that messy i use it in the morning and than i wear a liner. and thats what it sounds like you have to do with the pill as well.

The pill is also very expensive, over $100 per month just for the 100 mg tabs. My doc prescribed 200 mg tabs and my insurance doesn't cover it, so he did dig up some samples for me. You might give that a try.
