A question about annovulatory cycles...

I was wondering:

Is it possible to not ovulate and still have a period? Does this usually happen once in awhile or can it happen all the time?

I'm also just learning that OPKs can give you a positive reading, even if you don't ovulate. Would one assume that this happens once in a blue moon, or is it possible to never ovulate but have no idea because you have a period on a regular basis?

This is my first month charting, and while its still a little early for ovulation to be detected, my temps seem a little erratic and I'm concerned. Aside from temping, how can one truly be sure they are ovulating??

Thanks! Next month I think I'll start temping after AF and only on weekdays, unless I can manage to get up early enough on the weekends. Is it wrong that I just want to skip those days?? LOL. I also feel bad waking up DH in the process.

Well, its not wrong to want to skip those days, but without a complete chart you will most likely miss O. It only take seconds in the am to chart, I think he cand handle it, lol
