I never used Seasonique so things may be different. I would check with doctor to know for sure. Every women is different but I would think waiting until next month (or thereafter) to start with the ovulation tests. Usually docs wants you to wait a few months post bcp to try, not only that it may take your cycle some time to regulate after coming off them. Good Luck keep us posted

There's no way to really know if it will mess up your cycle or not, you'll probably just have to wait and see what happens. But if you are hoping to try right away, the only clear reason I've ever heard to wait until you have your first period after stopping the pill to try is b/c it's harder to date the pregnancy. But for me, I figure they can just do an ultrasound so i try as soon as I stop the pill. I just start opk's right away to see when I'll ovulate, since being right off the pill, it's hard to know when that might happen. You can use internet cheapie opk's since you might end of using a lot of them, and then when you think it looks positive, back it up with a more expensive opk like clearblue digital. good luck to you

I was showing signs of ovulation with the mucus, but that was before the positive OPK and then it was positive and than the next day my mucus dried, so I think my body had the Lh surge and no ovulation. But I guess in your case you could be getting ready to have you LH surge, keep checking.... what time are you checking? I did it first thing in the AM because the instructions said to not urinate for 4 hours prior to checking, then I checked that same day late afternoon, which was positive as well.

I am using clear blue digital, the one that gives you a smile face if you are at the surge and the constructions say to test everyday from CD 6 on depending on your cycle length. Since you are not sure when that is I say test everyday first thing in the morning then if you get a opposite check in the afternoon to confirm. Hope this helps.

I think the ones I have are First response ? But I'm not sure. They look just like pregnancy tests, they're not the little strip ones.

With Seasonique, I don't think it makes a difference which pack you stop at, since I believe it's like continously taking standard BCP. However, I would probably worry if your lining was built up to support a pregnancy. How were your periods when you would have them? Did you have a decent amount of flow or was it pretty light?

My periods were pretty normal. They'd be heavy the first 2 or 3 days, normal for a day, then light for the rest.
