I totally understand about feeling obsessive! It's so hard not to be when you're just so excited!!

When DH and I were ttc#1 my cycles were totally wonky coming off the pill for about 3 months. My charts made no sense, and my cycles were 28 to 30-some days long. Since I was paying extra special attention my CM I would notice spotting ora pinkish tinge, get excited or freak out, and then AF would show up a few days later. Since this is your first cycle off the pill I would wait another week..or atleast a few days. Take a doller store cheapie, and if it still says negative call your doctor's office and speak with the nurse. Some women just have really long cycles, but I suspect it's your body trying to regulate itself after being on the pill.

HTH!

Cathy

Hi Cathy!

I know, my husband thinks I'm crazy for being so obsessed already!

Thanks so much for your insight.

I think part of the fun part of TTC is being obsessed. :)

I'm going through a crazy cycle too! This is my first cycle off the pill (ttc #2!). I ended my period last week. Stopped for a week...and it looks as if I'm about to start again! Grrr!

Hi Jen,

This is my second cycle off BCP. My first cycle was a miserable 34 days. I called the doctor around cd31 to see if they could give me something to make AF come since all my HPTs were negative. They told me not to worry and call back after it's been a 6-week cycle. I was so frustrated at that point so I looked up other ways to make AF come. Sex obviously has a tendency to make her arrive. I read some stuff about herbs that can help but I was cautious about those since I don't know what the side effects are. I did come across a site that said grapefruit juice would help, so I figured that couldn't hurt. I drank about 1/2 the jug and voila! AF was here that night. Whether it was a coincidence or not, I have no clue! I would say give it a try if you know you're not pg. Sorry you're having to wait so long. I know it's torture!

I don't remember if you said you were temping or doing OPKs, but this is my first cycle using those. I don't really plan on using them to time BD (although it can't hurt), it's more so I can keep a record of what my body does so I will be prepared to show the gyno in case I don't get pg within a few months. I'd hate for them to say "well, we don't know exactly what your cycle is doing so keep track of it for a few months and come back to see us." Kwim?

Anyway, I hope that helps. Sorry so long! :) Have a good day! GL!

Ick. AF showed up this morning at 6. LAME. It's uncool to have 2AFs within 2 weeks of each-other. I hope my next cycle is pretty normal.

A break from BDing! WHoooOhooo! I actually just bought a really cute chemise yesterday in "celebration of TTC"...guess we will have to wait a few days. Hehe.

BTW, you may want to delete this cycle off of your chart. It could totally screw your "normal" numbers up. I'm taking mine off because I know my normal cycle is definitely not 10 days long...

Did AF come for you?

Morning ladies! I just wanted to check and see how you were doing. Not much new here. Just waiting to O...still. Ugh! Feels like forever sometimes! Anyway, I hope you are having a good week. I'm glad you both got AF so you could start your cycles again. GL!

Af is dying down. That always makes me happy. :) As much as I enjoy a break I hate dealing with bloat, cramps, and tampons! Can't wait for the 9 month break!

I like grape juice too!...with Vodka. :)

Do you girls have facebook?
