if you ovulate late does that automatically set your period back? Because I had a period on the 21st of december but did not O till the 15th of jan. Period was due on the 18th of january. But has not come. So should I now not expect my period until 2 weeks from when i ovulated? I have never ovulated late. I am always so regular, so now i am thrown off. Lovely hormones :)

I am no expert, but from everything I do know, you would need to wait about 2 weeks from ovulation. Hopefully someone can correct me if I am wrong! HTH

Some women ovulate late in their cycle and get AF when it is expected. I think if the time between O and AF is less than ten days, it is called a LPD, but don't quote me. Personally, if I O past day

I agree with the PP. One thing I would add is it would probably help you to chart because it will tell you 1) that you are ovulating and what day and 2) how long your luteal phase is.
