Question about LH surge

I have been using the digital ovulation test for the past couple of months and have always gotten a positive with them about the 11th day of my cycle....well my question is this: I usually test like 3 times a day when I start getting a lot of cm. Today I tested at 9 am got a negative, tested at 12pm and got a positive, but then I tested at 5 pm and it was negative! Can a LH surge only last that short period of time or is something wrong? This same thing happened last month as well. Please help!

Hmmmm, I test once a day in the afternoon and always get two positives! Maybe your 5 pm was diluted? Did you drink a lot between 12 and 5? Or maybe your surge started, then decided to wait to surge again later? That happened to me last month. I had a surge 2 days, then no temp rise.....6 days later I had another + and ovulated the next day. I would keep testing and BD.

Thanks so much for your help!! Since you said that, I decided to test again this morning and sure enough it was still positive!! I guess I had just drank too much yesterday afternoon....I never even thought about that!
