Hi!

This is my 3rd month TTC...and my first time using a OPK. I started using it on CD9, and now I'm on CD11...the first two days I had only one line. Today I had a line and a shadow of another line. I know you need 2 dark lines for it to be considered a +. My question is...does the shadow of another line mean that I am about to "O" and that the other line should get darker in the next 2 days or so? I am so confused. Any info. would be appreciated.

Thank you

Kelly

To be ovulating soon, your test result line needs to be AS DARK or DARKER THAN the control line. When you see a test result line that meets this criteria, it means you'll ovulate 24-36 hours after that result.

The results you're seeing sound like negative OPKs, meaning you will not ovulate 24-36 hours after taking the test.

Good luck to you!
