Question about smoking.
| Mon, 10-10-2011 - 9:23pm |
Now I am not a smoker at all, but DH smokes cigars occasionally and I'm wondering if that would effect his fertility at all? I only ask because he didn't start the habit until after DD was born.
It's kind of like drinking during pregnancy... they know that a lot of it causes problems, but nobody knows how to define "a lot." Some babies are fine with a woman only having a few drinks. Some babies are fine with a man only having a few smokes. It takes about 3 months for the effects of smoking to fully leave your man's system. If it's only an occasional cigar, it probably hasn't caused problems, but you could always ask him to quit just in case.
