Question about temping

For the last two days I took my temperature in the morning and it was pretty level with what it usually is, then went back to bed after nothing more than a trip to the bathroom. Two hours later, out of curiosity, I took it again and it was up by more than half a degree from the first time.
I have taken my temperature later in the morning before as well as right before bedtime (I'm obsessed) and it was never up that high. Could my BBT be raising, only my morning temp doesn't show it? I am wondering if my relatively level temps for the last week and a half have been due to my waterbed. The water is approximately 97 - 98 degrees. (I don't know exactly). Could that be holding my temperature steady? (it fluxuates between 96.9 and 97.3 in the mornings)

LOL- I don't think it's your waterbed...have you had it all this time, or is it new? I think some days our bodies just do weird things. One night I could have my foot out all night long and wake up with 98.0 and the next under the covers with a temp of 97.5... it just varies. I've also had full cycles where my temps were 0.5 degrees lower or higher than my "normal" cycle too. I hope though that this temp difference is a good sign though and I'd play it out a few days and see where your other temps fall in, then maybe you'll want to do some adjusting if necessary (I hate adjusting and try not to at all costs- lol!). (((hugs)))) HTH Connie
