Question about temping please
| Tue, 10-07-2003 - 9:21am |
I know that you are supposed to temp every day at the same time....well, sometimes it isnt that easy for me. BUT I do usually temp within the hour or half hour, if not the same time every morning.
My question is this:
This morning I woke up earlier than usual and couldnt go back to sleep. (I usually wake up at 6:20, this morning I woke up at 5:20. I had to pee, the dog was hyper, etc.) So, I decided to take my temp before I got out of bed to be safe.
My temp was 97.1 at 5:20.
I then went back to sleep and woke up at 6:40 and took my temp again. I was actually sleeping better at that time than I was at 5:20.........ANYWAY, my temp at 6:40 was 97.7.
It went up that much in one hour of sleeping.
Which temp do you think I should use?
I appreciate your help on this - I want to make sure I get this charting stuff right!
Thanks again!
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,
I agree with Trish - keep the first temp and just make a note of the time - I'm not a fan of adjusting temps or taking two and averaging them. Keep watch over the next few days and if that 97.1 seems very out-of-wack, you can check the box in FF data to make the temp invalid for that day.
